Robert F. Kennedy Jr. withdrew his name this morning from consideration for the U.S. Senate seat but hinted that his cousin would be a good fit for the post.
When asked by the New York Times whether his cousin Caroline Kennedy might be interested in the job, Mr. Kennedy said: “Caroline Kennedy would be the perfect choice if she would agree to it.”
Caroline Kennedy became a top name mentioned for several political posts after she delivered a timely primary endorsement of Barack Obama and helped oversee his vice presidential selection process.
